Built by people who washed trucks themselves for years
HB Nexus does not come from a drawing board. It comes from a truck wash where the work was heavy and staff were scarce.
HB Nexus was developed by HB Group, founded in 2017. The company started as a truck wash operator at the Maasvlakte and Europoort, then built ECO Containerwash and after that the fully robotic Nexus with the Nuvix software. Developed, tested and built in the Netherlands.
The story
Built by people who washed trucks themselves for years
HB Nexus is not an idea from a drawing board. It is the answer of HB Group, founded in 2017, to a problem we faced every day at HB Truckwash on the Maasvlakte and Europoort: cleaning the inside of trailers and containers is heavy, wet and unhealthy work, and finding good people for it gets harder every year.
So we built the solution ourselves. First ECO Containerwash, then the fully robotic Nexus and the Nuvix software that plans, registers and invoices every wash cycle. Developed, tested and built in the Netherlands.

From truck wash operator to machine builder

HB Group is founded
It starts with HB Truckwash at the Maasvlakte and Europoort: thousands of wash cycles a year, and the same problem inside the trailer every day.

ECO Containerwash
The first in-house solution for cleaning containers, built because nothing existed that took over the work.

Nexus and Nuvix
The fully robotic washing robot, with the software that plans, registers and invoices every wash cycle. Hardware and software from one family.

Hardware and software from one family
The Nexus washes, Nuvix records. Because both come from the same house, there is no integration that breaks between the machine and the administration: a wash cycle is only finished once it has been registered.
