About us
Built by people who washed trucks themselves for years
HB Nexus is not an idea from a drawing board. It is the answer of HB Group, founded in 2017, to a problem we faced every day at HB Truckwash on the Maasvlakte and Europoort: cleaning the inside of trailers and containers is heavy, wet and unhealthy work, and finding good people for it gets harder every year.
So we built the solution ourselves. First ECO Containerwash, then the fully robotic Nexus and the Nuvix software that plans, registers and invoices every wash cycle. Developed, tested and built in the Netherlands.

How does the HB Nexus work?
The Nexus is a fully automatic machine that cleans trailers and containers on the inside without human intervention. The trailer docks, the telescopic arm moves inside and cleans floor, walls and ceiling according to a fixed programme. Every wash cycle is therefore identical.
How long does a full wash cycle take?
A full HACCP wash cycle including disinfection takes a maximum of 15 minutes. That is 4 wash cycles per hour, day and night.
Is the Nexus safe for my staff?
Yes. Nobody enters the box any more: the robot does the work. The chemicals are kept in a sealed technical room and dosed automatically, and collision protection with sensors always keeps machine, vehicle and staff apart.
Do I get a certificate after the wash cycle?
Yes. Every wash cycle automatically produces a digital HACCP certificate via Nuvix. All certificates are searchable in the customer portal, per vehicle and per date. Audit preparation is no longer a project.
